Game Galaxy (Part 9)

Jordan | December 30, 2011

The Resolution Solution… and other horrible names for a band.

Well, this episode is both the last of the year and the last in the Game Galaxy Arc. 2011 has been crazy; we launched on February 21st and since then in our 97 episodes we have fought Chuck Liddell, “dealt with” Casey Anthony, joined the search for Osama Bin Laden, led an Army of children into pretend Battle, shot Voldermort, Became “One With The Force”, saved the World from God’s Wraith toward Social Networking and Invented The Single Greatest Sport In The History of Mankind. So yeah, we’ve kept busy 🙂

But sadly, we soon may be coming to the end of Imagine Industries. You see, our Artist Sale and his wife are expecting a baby very soon (btw, we couldn’t be happier for them) and he’ll be forced to get a full-time job. Well, the long and short of it is Sale can’t keep doing II with a full-time job and a baby to take care of so we are at a dilemma. Josh and I don’t have the money to pay for an Artist (certainly not the caliber of Sale) and Sale can’t afford to continue with us. We basically need a miracle. To be clear, we are NOT asking for money, nor would we except it (unless one of our fans is a multimillionaire that doesn’t need the money) but we DO want to continue. Although, it would literally take us suddenly getting 100,000 new readers to afford to keep Sale.

We will all, Sale included, be racking our brains to find ways to continue Imagine Industries (in any form we can do it in) but so far, we have no definitive plans once Sale leaves.

As much as I never thought I would, or wanted to say this, I am now accepting applications for new Artist for Imagine Industries. It’s a great job (assuming you don’t need a paycheck) and I guarantee amazing benefits (by benefits, I mean working with me and Josh on crafting epic adventures staring psychotic yet surprisingly endearing characters). If you or someone you know is a talented Artist who’d like to work with us, please send us an email at contactimagineindustries@gmail.com with a sample of some of your work.

It’s Not Over Til It’s Over

This is NOTthe last episode of Imagine Industries. We have a new comic on Monday (like always) and we intend to continue as long as Sale can afford to. We have no intention of missing comic dates if we can help it and believe me, we have a TON of content planned out if we do get a new Artist or if before said miracle does take place. Also, we will be paying to keep the site up for a while after the comic ends, if it does indeed end.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been reading us this year. You guys have given our silly comic a purpose, making you laugh and we never want to let you down.

Keep reading, tell your friends and we hope to see you back here on Monday for the next (but not last) new episode.

I leave you now with an inspirational quote from Captain Malcolm Reynolds:

You know what the first rule of flying is? Love. You can learn all the math in the ‘Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don’t love, she’ll shake you off just as sure as a turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she’s hurtin’ before she keels. Makes her a home.

Well, it’s true, The Storm’s getting worse. But, We’ll pass through it soon enough.

Keep Flying,
Jordan

Happy New Years Imagine Industries!

The end of this year has come with many challenges, one being that we are not sure the life pulse of our comic at the moment. But I will say that in 2011 we launched a web comic that I feel, can compete with the best of them out there. I am blessed to be ending this year with the best co-creators ever, an amazing comic and the best fans in the world. You guys have made 2011 something I can talk about for the rest of my life, and mostly in a good way! 🙂

Happy New Years everyone. I hope II has given you as much love as we have gotten from all of you.

OMG you guys can’t stop! This is the BEST online comic I’ve ever read! I would love to do the artist thing but I can’t draw, like at all. Please keep doing this comic!…Oh and first ;).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this is like being told god/gods has to go away II wont be the same without Sale drawing. One of the reasons this is such a good comic is because its has what most online comics dont and that is it is well written and well drawn. Most web comics have one or the other not both like you guys. I am sure the comic will still be great no matter what happens but I know I will miss you Sale.

The Game Galaxy storyline has been great, and seeing Jordan lose was priceless! It’s been a great year following II, and I hope that the coming year finds you still producing your wonderful series. Congrats Sale on your upcoming fatherhood, you’ve brought this series up to a high level, some of the best webcomic art on the web. Best of luck to you in your new role as Daddy! Happy New Year to all of you! Hoping 2012 will end up being better than ever for II!

Firstly, Congratulations Sale, you are already up 1000 points on everyone here because you obviously got laid. You’ll be an epic father, i can imagine awkward puberty talks will be much simpler with a step by step comic drawn by yourself to explain everything 😛

Secondly, There is no way in any dimension i’m letting you nerds stop doing this comic. I will spam every avenue i have open to me, and we WILL get you more fans.

Thirdly, how are we supposed to cope with the end of the world 2012 if we don’t have Imagine industries?

We more than appreciate all your amazing comments and support. Believe me, the last thing either of us want is to see II fall so short of its potential. We have YEARS of planning and comics worked out and it would crush us immensely to see things stop now.
We are keeping our thinking caps on and trying the best we can to come up with some sort of solution. The only thing we ask from all of you in the mean time is continued support, and hope for a miracle. Tell your friends about us and see if we can get famous already! haha We love you all.

What kind of financial backing would you need to keep this comic going?

Well at this point our artist with his new baby would need to be making enough for a full time job to continue the comic. I believe the numbers are $250/month to keep things going, and that would possibly even move us to 3 comics a week. I don’t really have much worry about talking money with people and being honest, so that is kinda where we are at with it all. :-/

That does not work for me! I need II to make my weeks seem worth it! It is GODS will that II stays alive! He told me so!

On other note, congratulations Sale! you have done amazing art work for II, and i wish you the best of luck. 🙂
